Verder Pumps South Africa is proud to have partnered with KT Wash and Anderson Engineering in designing and specifying advanced pumping solutions for the expansion of KT Wash’s state-of-the-art liquid detergent manufacturing facility in Nigel, east of Gauteng. With over 50 years of expertise, Packo Pumps (A Verder Company), has built a global reputation for world-class hygienic pumping solutions - a legacy of reliability and performance that played a pivotal role in KT Wash’s decision to collaborate with Verder.

The Nigel facility now operates 33 Verder pumps, including Packo Lobe, Packo Centrifugal and Air-handling Pumps, as well as various Verderair Double Diaphragm Pumps. Each pump is meticulously matched to critical applications such as raw material offloading, product transfer, and CIP processes. Their durability and ease of maintenance help minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Our Collaboration

Eddie Le Roux, Verder South Africa’s Hygienic Pumps Specialist, worked closely with the teams from both Anderson Engineering and KT Wash to ensure an optimal solution. “Our local support and ongoing research and development were important to KT Wash,” Le Roux explains. “We supplied positive displacement pumps for high-viscosity products, as well as electropolished centrifugal and air handling units to maintain the highest hygiene standards.”
