Črpalna aktivnost po načelu delovanja črpalke z rotirajočimi bati nastane z obračanjem v nasprotnih smereh dveh črpalnih elementov (rotorjev) znotraj komore (ohišja rotorja). Rotorji se nahajajo na oseh, ki so postavljene znotraj zunanjega reduktorja in jih držijo ležaji; razvodni mehanizmi so prav tako nameščeni na oseh.
